Impressive lineup of insurers, reinsurers, and collaborators join newly launched Insurance Innovation Lab to design and co-create.
(Toronto, ON) February 15, 2017 —Cookhouse Lab, the only insurance focused open innovation lab opened its doors on February 1. Today, Cookhouse Lab is pleased to announce the official client roster of companies joining as members and collaborators beginning February 2017.
The list of impressive client participants who have committed to a membership at Cookhouse Lab includes Foresters Financial, IRB Brazil RE, Hannover Re (Ireland) DAC Canadian Life Branch, and Munich Re Canada. These companies are among the first to access Cookhouse Lab’s 3,500 square foot facility in Toronto and openly collaborate on the lab’s first insurance innovation project.

Earlier this month, Cookhouse Lab also announced a new collaboration with KPMG in Canada to help energize the Canadian insurance innovation landscape. This collaboration will connect industry leaders and lab members, aiming to provide them with the opportunity to develop solutions for emerging trends in the insurance sector.
In addition, Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP (Blakes) have also teamed up with Cookhouse Lab, offering members and project teams legal and advisory expertise.
